Washington D.C. is a cool city. The people there helped make it even cooler.

My hosts were Tyler and Rhianna, two warm, generous people that hospitably welcomed me into their home and showed me around their city. I’m grateful for their kindness and generosity during my three days in town.

From going out, to seeing the monuments and the National Zoo, and of course the D.C. United match and everything in between, I had a wonderful time with Tyler and Rhianna.

Special thanks to my man Ethan De Nolf of Virginia Barber’s Club. Ethan reached out to me months ago offering a cut on the house when I was in town. We met up on St. Patrick’s Day for a 9 p.m. appointment (the construction on the Metro delayed my arrival) where Ethan gave me one of the best haircut experiences of my life and did his best to make me look as good as his D.C. United clientele.

Last but not least, I’d like to thank James Armold of D.C. United. I know James from our brief time working together in Fort Lauderdale, and we’ve been friends since. James showed me the D.C. United Preview Center and hooked me and Tyler up with tickets to the match. James, you’re the man.
