1. Strengthen the protection of the conveyor belt.

In the loading area of the mine belt conveyor, materials falling from a height will have a greater impact on the conveyor belt and its protective auxiliary devices. Therefore, it is necessary to take anti-impact and wear-resistant protective measures for the conveyor belt. In order to meet the above performance requirements, we can start from two aspects: one is the use of high-performance rollers, and the other is the special development of protective devices.

(1) Improvement of roll performance. Rollers are commonly used wear-resistant and impact-resistant parts of belt conveyors. They have disadvantages such as low efficiency, many failures, and short service life. This makes the conveyor more frequent and longer maintenance time, reduces the conveying efficiency, pollutes the environment, increases the operating cost, and restricts the development of the belt conveyor. In order to improve its wear resistance, impact resistance, flame resistance and antistatic properties, a company has developed a special roller for impact-resistant belt conveyors. Urea-formaldehyde resin anti-impact tension spring is installed in the roller, and both ends of the roller shaft are sealed with labyrinth, which has the characteristics of anti-impact, anti-static, wear-resisting, flame-retardant and so on. Its service life is 2-3 times that of metal drums, and it is suitable for coal, mining and other industries.

(2) Development of wear-resistant and impact-resistant devices. The application of the new material combination meets the requirements of special harsh working conditions; the nylon alloy on the surface of the buffer strip has low friction coefficient, high impact toughness, high wear resistance, and the middle rubber layer has large elasticity, which can effectively absorb the impact energy when the material falls. The metal frame is reliable and can withstand the impact of large loads.

2. Strengthen the transformation of mobile belt conveyors for mining.

(1) According to the material characteristics and working environment, choose different materials of mine mobile belt conveyors to achieve economic goals. For example, wear-resistant nylon belts are used in areas with severe wear; choose a good belt conveyor in areas where the single system operation rate is high.

(2) In view of the deviation problem of the mobile belt conveyor used in mining, some nozzles and chutes were modified to solve the deviation of the belt caused by incorrect feeding; the self-made No. 5 angle steel belt conveyor return wheel adjustment frame was adopted; Special tools such as automatic deviation adjustment roller, automatic deviation correction manipulator, rubber coating roller, etc. ensure the smooth and reliable operation of the belt conveyor.

(3) Increase the installation angle of the idler rollers for mobile belt conveyors used in mines with large slopes. The installation angle of the supporting wheels on both sides of the mine mobile belt conveyor is 45-50. The materials on the mine mobile belt conveyor are basically concentrated in the middle, making the load per unit area of the middle belt exceed the design capacity. In addition, the slope will turn during transportation, resulting in greater belt loss. Therefore, we can adjust the installation angle of the supporting roller, increase the contact surface between the material and the belt conveyor, ensure that the belt conveyor conveys the material under the design load, and reduce the wear of the belt at the turning point.
