Tape Drive Overview

The auto-loading tape drive is actually a combination of tape and tape drive. The autoloader is a tape drive and automatic tape changer located in a single machine. It can pick up tapes from a cassette containing multiple tapes and put them into the drive, or perform the reverse process. It can back up data of 100GB-200GB or more. Auto-loading tape drives can support routine backup processes and automatically load new tapes for daily backup tasks. A small company with a workgroup server can use an autoloader to automate backup tasks.
