DRIVEN BY LOVE FOR THE BEAUTIFUL GAME
The Soccer Tour was a journey to explore all levels of the sport across the diverse North American soccer landscape.
Between February and October 2017, with the support of the soccer community, lifelong soccer fan Steven Bernasconi lived on the road — crowdfunding and couchsurfing his way across the continent — for an eight-month, 30,000 mile road trip to meet and interact with people closest to the sport.
Throughout the journey, Steven produced original video, photo, and written content from the 56 matches attended and his interactions with hundreds of soccer people. The Soccer Tour developed a niche social media following and attracted attention from soccer media across the country.
It was the first of its kind, and a long time coming.
