I’ve learned very quickly that Orlando is good at supporting its soccer teams.
Hanging from every lamppost near the downtown stadium are banners of the men’s and women’s teams. In every bar, a flag or pennant. Seemingly every car has an Orlando City or Pride magnet. And on Saturday night, hundreds (thousands?) of purple-clad fans filled the streets downtown for Orlando City Pub Crawl.
It was an incredible sight. Check out the tweets of my experience below, or follow @TheSoccerTour.
Love all of the promotion for @ORLPride. Everywhere the men's team is, the pride is there too. pic.twitter.com/xlY0U7ID9Q
