Van life or vandwelling is often glamorized on social media. Just search the hashtag and you’ll see an abundance of posts of attractive, adventurous people parked in exotic, picturesque locations “living the dream.”
But how much of that is real?
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued by the movement and inspired by the freedom living out of a vehicle could offer. And in my limited experience, it has been liberating and rewarding. The Soccer Tour would not be possible without the vandwelling component.
However, sometimes it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
